We are on the lookout for an experienced, highly organised Facilities Maintenance Manager with experience in construction of new centre builds to lead and oversee the maintenance operations across all their centres, as well as support the development of new sites.About the Role:As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in managing a small team, overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, and ensuring our centres are safe, well-maintained, and compliant. You’ll also work closely with a  leadership team and project managers on new build centres, contributing to operational planning and handover readiness.Your Responsibilities:Lead, coordinate and support a small maintenance teamSchedule and prioritise maintenance requests across all 20 centresEngage and manage external contractors and suppliersEnsure compliance with WHS and relevant childcare facility standardsMaintain preventative maintenance schedules and logsOversee operational readiness of new centre builds in collaboration with project teamsMonitor budgets and identify cost-effective maintenance solutionsProvide regular reporting and updates to senior managementAbout You:Proven experience in facilities management, building maintenance or property operationsStrong organisational and time-management skills – able to juggle multiple prioritiesExperience leading a team or supervising trades/contractorsExcellent communication skills and stakeholder managementStrong problem-solving and proactive thinkingUnderstanding of WHS and regulatory compliance in early learning environmentsCurrent Driver’s Licence (essential)Trade qualification or background (highly regarded)Ready to Join?Apply now with your resume and a short cover letter outlining your relevant experience to joanne.oakman@saveourservice.com.au AUD Sydney 2000
